This study enrolls both facilitators and their clients to understand the long-term health and wellness impacts of psychedelic services. Facilitators and clients complete confidential surveys on our secure web-based platform. We follow-up with clients for one year to assess safety and health outcomes.

Veteran Peer Support

Peers with shared life experiences quickly build trust and aid treatment engagement for those with mental, physical, or substance use challenges. There is limited research on how to best train and educate peer support specialists for psychedelic therapy, a gap this study aims to address.

Harm Reduction

This study explores best practices and identifies key messages for minimizing psychedelic risks, by interviewing harm reduction experts, individuals considering psilocybin use, and healthcare providers.

Adverse Effects

OPEN’s Adverse Event Portal is a public system to anonymously report adverse events related to psilocybin use in Oregon. Any member of the public can provide information about adverse events, which may allow us to detect patterns and improve safety.
